Sanofi US is committed to funding high-quality educational activities and materials that have the potential to improve patient care and health outcomes in the therapeutic areas of interest.

Sanofi US will review requests from not-for-profit 501(c) professional, scientific, and patient health-related organizations, in addition to requests from medical and academic institutions in the US and Puerto Rico, for the following:

  • Corporate Memberships
  • Sponsorships
  • Independent Medical Education
  • Fellowships

Organizations should submit their requests using the online application process. Please note that to be considered, applications should be received well in advance of the start date to allow time for review. Sanofi Research and Medical Education Contributions

Sanofi provides contributions to hospitals, research institutions, disease organizations, and medical education programs demonstrating our continued commitment to expand medical knowledge and improve healthcare standards worldwide.

Independent Medical Education Grants

Funded by our Medical Affairs organization, we support scientific progress in our areas of disease and therapeutic focus:

  • Atopic Dermatitis
  • Prurigo Nodularis
  • Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Oncology: Breast, Lung, Prostate
  • Rare Genetic Diseases
  • Rare Blood Disorders

Accredited and unaccredited medical education programs

These contributions support high-quality, independent medical education programs for health care professionals that are designed to improve disease awareness and understanding and advance clinical knowledge and skills in the disease areas in which we focus, with the goal of enhancing the quality of care—informational, physical and psycho-social—provided to patients. Requests for general medical conference/congress support should be submitted as sponsorships requests.

Fellowships

Providing funding to teaching hospitals, medical schools, and other institutions for fellowship salary and research projects in areas of interest but not directly related to Sanofi therapies or products.

Please note: Fellowship applications for Multiple Sclerosis will only be considered from MS Associations and Foundations. MS fellowship applications from hospitals or universities are not eligible for support.

Sponsorships

These contributions support live events (e.g., walk-a-thons, fundraisers, congresses/conventions) activities and/or programs aimed at educating, patients, patients’ spouses/children/caregivers, patient organizations, or healthcare professionals (other than accredited or unaccredited medical education).
